Frequently Asked Questions
What is Dharakalp Powder ?
Dharakalp is the soil revitalizer and fertility booster amendment for any soil, It is derived from cooled lava layer of Earth,That naturally occurring after more than 100 million years of geological activities.
We have identified unique and rare geological deposit after two decades of research work. Dharakalp powder reported by x-ray flurocent spectroscopic elemental analysis containing more than 80 fresh minerals and more than 30 types of trace elements.
Every elements of Dharakalp powder are in pure and kinetically active form.
All mineral molecules have never done any chemical, bio-chemical or bio-genic activity so it contains the natural power of the earth or cosmic energy which made for to enhance and boost the soil fertility. Mixing these minerals into any agricultural soil results in more healthy and nutritious crop.
These minerals are important and essential food for plants and also for the growth of all beneficiary bacteria, fungus, microbes, nematodes and earthworms within the soil.
This lava material is scientifically tested for field trials by horticulture scientist and approved to be efficient to detoxify, To revitalize, To rejuvenate any type of soil, it converts aged soil into highly fertile and creates naturally strong, healthy, disease resistant crop with high yielding and nutritional food.
Our geological deposit area is identified by Government of Gujarat as rare, unique and special material in the Deccan volcanic province of central Saurastra region and awarded us for further scientific studies,research and agriculture product development.
In short, DHARAKALP can be explained as maternal milk to soil and plant
Explain your product name DHARAKALP, What Dharakalp means?
Dharakalp pronounced as combination of two Sanskrit words “Dhara + Kalp”. Dharakalp is an acronym created and registered as a trade mark by its founder Dr. Ramesh Deshani for the soil amendment product to boost soil fertility.
In Hinduism Sanskrit word “Dhara” means “Earth” which is one the five basic elements of the nature. Sanskrit word “Kalp “used for ancient system of bodily rejuvenation practice in Ayurveda as “Kaya kalp” It means to reverse the natural aging process, to detoxify and purify the body cells , to turn old cells into new ones, in short. “Kalpa” means “Transformation into original pure form”.
Dharakalp means the transformation of Dhara ( Soil, farming land) from state of old age ,from state of toxicity and impurity, or low fertile state of soil to its original, natural and pure form which is very ideal for living environment for all biological mass depends on it.
Where does DHARAKLP come from? Or explain origin of Dharakalp?
Any soil particle or base element of soil came from either Center of the Earth or Meteorites falling from the sky. Active soil particle are one of the driving forces of the life upon the Earth.All theses elements are initially natured and processed under extreme high pressure of gravity, temperature, and magnetic energy resulted from decay of radio isotopes inside the core of the earth along with other extra planetary cosmic energy forms , It results in Viscus Lava as Magma, that further travels upwards to form the upper mantel of the earth and than to upper crust to make top soil at the end.
The smallest cool soil particle consumes Mega Time more than 6 Billion years to become an active participant in cellular life as bio-chemical.It is transformation of Geo-chemical mass in to Bio chemical mass. Dharakalp reduces time travelling of natural elements from deeper layer of earth to top soil ( From "R" layer to "O" layer of the soil horizon).
What effect does DHARAKALP on plants and soil?
Dharakalp has direct effect and indirect effects on soil and plant or crop.Direct effect of Dharakalp:
Newly germinating seed of plant in the soil when uptake fresh minerals and trace elements, all absorbed pure elements participate in genetic activity at genome and proteome level to purify its mechanism of growth and immunity system of the plant. It increases length and bulk of root system of the growing plant, It makes tall healthy plants by strong stem and branch system of the plant .It reduces flower falling due to wind and rain due to strong tissue structure. Sustainable flower system increases number of fruits or vegetables per plants, Size and weight of fruits and vegetables are also increases, thus improves crop yielding. It increases flavor, Test and nutritional value of edible crops.
Indirect effect of Dharakalp:
Dharakalp powder is natural multi mineral molecules that rejuvenate the mineral and chemical properties of highly weathered or low fertile soils when it is added in soil;
It improve the cation exchange capacity of the soil;
It increases soil ability to retain nutrient cation;
It reduce phosphorus fixation capacity, so that phosphates added in fertilizers are kept in soil solution and are more readily available for plant nutrition;
It provides sufficient silicon during metabolic up take in plant cells, ultimately resulting improved plant vigour and quality.
It creates system of natural release of elements and trace minerals from the soil to the root system by microbial orchestra and earthworms.
It increases the nutrient intake of plants.
It rebalances soil pH.
It increases microbial and earthworm activity and improves plant beneficiary biodiversity
It builds humus.
It increases resistance to insects by strong surfaces; it increases immunity against disease, frost, and drought.
It decreases dependence on fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.
Can Dharakalp products effective on any soil?
Dharakalp Lava material was selected in year 2016 to study “carbon capture and storage system” by Indian Institute of technology, Bombay for PhD thesis and was documented as having capturing, binding and absorption capacity of atmospheric carbon dioxide and monoxide and other forms of carbon, converting it in to varieties of bicarbonates.
We also conducted field test under supervision of renowned horticulture scientist at Rajkot for 15 hectares of unfertile land, with successful results.
Dharakalp Powder show positive results on a variety of soils and plants.
What Products are available from Dharakalp Powder ?
Dharakalp is available in five formsDharakalp Superfine powder,
Dharakalp Micronized powder,
Dharakalp Farm Grade Powder,
Dharakalp Pelletized Powder,
Dharakalp Granulated Powder.
superfine Dharakalp powder is 90% passing a 450 mesh screen and is the finest available Dharakalp grade. It is perfect for injecting into trickle or drip irrigation systems, can be added to a spray tank, or mixed in a watering can for Home Lawn & Garden use.
Dharakalp Micronized powder is 90% passing a 200 mesh screen and can be mixed with potting soil, compost, or spread by hand in the garden or other agricultural areas - or used in hydroponic or liquid application systems where strong agitation and proper filter, emitter, and/or with change of nozzle sizes are in place to allow the non-soluble particles to flow through it to mix with soil near your plant.
Farm Grade Dharakalp Powder appears as coarse, irregularly sized particles. It can be applied with a spreader, creating a spread pattern that is less than that of granular or pelleted due to the inconsistent particle size. It is less dusty to handle than Micronized.
Granulated Dharakalp Powder is produced by forming the Micronized particles into granules with the addition of natural and organic binder material, which also contains beneficial soil and plant nutrients. Granular Dharakalp takes several days to break down in the soil once it is applied and exposed to irrigation or rainfall water.
Pelletized Dharakalp is produced from Micronized powder using a beneficial binder and a pellet extruder and breaks down into fine powder immediately when in contact with water, rain or irrigation
How is DHARAKALP applied to the soil?
Micronized DHARAKALP is a fine powder (around minus 200 mesh) suitable to apply on any soil by any of spraying or soil mixing machinery , hand application is also possible, or mixed with compost or other similar soil treatments for application.
DHARAKALP Farm Grade Powder is moderately dusty and is available for easy soil application in a broadcast or drop spreader, or by hand and manually mixing.
Granular DHARAKALP Powder can be applied by hand, or with spinner, tail-wager, or drop spreaders. Granular DHARAKALP takes more days to break down in the soil once it is applied and exposed to irrigation or rainfall water.
Pelletized DHARAKALP Powder can be applied by hand, or with spinner, tail-wager, or drop spreaders, and breaks down into fine powder immediately when it comes in contact with water, rain or irrigation.
In what types of plants or crops, DHARAKALP Powder is effective ?
DHARAKALP tests have reported positive results in almost all plant species.
It dramatically grows healthy plants with more fruits and vegetables. It is very effective in fruits like Mango, Orange, Banana, Guava, Pineapple, Litchi, Strawberry, Grapes, Pomegranate, Custard apple, lemon, Chikoo, Cashew, Kinnow, Musambi, Papaya, Naspati, Peach, Anjeer, Plums, Apple, Kiwi,, sugarcane, potatoes, rice, watermelon, tomatoes, melons, cantaloupes, onion, garlic, chilies, berries, Mashroom, tobacco, Tea and all ornamentals and flowering plants,
It also works on wheat, corn and many others.
DHARAKALP is uniquely capable of nourishing most plants throughout its life as it provides nutrients, Fresh natural minerals, trace elements that the native soil is often lacking.
Aren't all the minerals necessary for plant growth already in the soil?
The world's Agriculture, Farming and gardening land has been under cultivation for many decades and generations each seasonal or yearly crop cycle removes minerals, trace minerals and other elements from the soil with agricultural output or human or animal consumption. There is also elements loss through erosion and pesticide use. Since most fertilizer programs only replace Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K), crops become deficient of micronutrients and trace elements. So to have healthy and high nutritional and organic vegetable, Grains and fruits for food with all organic value fresh natural minerals and trace elements are necessary to add in soil in form of Dharakalp.
How is DHARAKALP different from fertilizer?
In recent time agriculture failure is the dominant factor for suicides amongst farmer community in India, Main reasons of agriculture failure and reduced income of farmer is reduced fertility of soil, debt trap due to higher expenses for crop maintenance for chemical fertilizer, pesticides and genetically modified seeds. Chemical fertilizers and pesticides has apathetically proved to be “short term gain with long term loss of agricultural profits” on the contrary it has poisonously polluted air for breathing, water for drinking, and any food for eating. Every new born babby take birth along with more than 100 chemical poisons in their body. Cases of low birth weight baby, congenital deformity, mentally retarded baby, autism, Attention deficiency, asthma, allergy, Diabetes, obesity, major depression, and cancer, dementia, all these diseases are increasing and becoming prevalent in the human society only because of chemical fertilizer and pesticides and pollution we did in environment.
For unethical and unholy corporate practice upon agriculture system, Strong loud voice and resist rising and started around globe. Real value of naturalism is emerging for agriculture and our living system and major scientific fraternities of the world have accepted to live with rule of nature and according to the system of nature. In that natural eco-system living concept, we are presenting our natural product as Dharakalp powder.
Most conventional fertilizers contain mainly Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K), Plants require these macronutrients in large amounts. NPK are only three of the essential nutrients required by plants. When choosing a fertility program, growers often neglect trace minerals and focus primarily on NPK. For plants to complete their life cycle and produce at full potential, a wide range of trace minerals is necessary. DHARAKALP is a naturally-occurring source for nutrients that does not harm the environment and is listed for use in organic production in APEDA also.
Thus Dharakalp is cheaper, effective, natural and productive for your crops and economy.
What is the Law of the Minimum?
The “father of fertilizer”, Justus von Liebig, developed the “Law of the Minimum” which is important in understanding what DHARAKALP does. The Law states that plant growth is determined by the scarcest “limiting” nutrient; if even one of the many required nutrients is deficient, the plant will not grow and produce at its optimum. Conventional fertilizer programs focus on the macronutrients like Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). However, if one of the many essential trace elements is deficient in the soil, the plant will not perform at its optimum, affecting yield and immune function.
If I use DHARAKALP, can other fertilizers be reduced or not neccessory?
DHARAKALP supplies secondary elements (Ca and Mg) and Potassium (K), and does not provide Nitrogen (N) or Phosphorus (P), therefore farmers while using very first time should not reduce any part of their usual fertility program that provides N or P. After application of Dharakalp in soil it will neutralize toxicity created by over use of NPK and chemical pesticides and herbicides. It will enhance fertility character of soil and will re-establish beneficiary soil biodivercity inside it to make ecological balance between soil and plant. DHARAKALP use has shown increased yields and improved soil and plant performance when added to a complete fertility program. Most farmers report a more rapid rate of growth, increased yields and quality within one harvest.
Can too much DHARAKALP be toxic as chemical fertilizer/pesticides?
No. DHARAKALP is 100% naturally-derived and completely free from toxicity to plant . It is not chemically altered and its natural, nontoxic composition will not harm plants or the environment on the contrary it makes soil rich with essential minerals for healthy, disease resistant, sustainable and productive plants.
Does DHARAKALP contain heavy metals?
Chemically, DHARAKALP is a sodium calcium aluminosilicate, DHARAKALP is a natural product from the Earth, which has not been chemically altered and cannot harm the environment. Heavy metals which pollutes soil or plant or food has not been reported during any of our scientific analysis.
What is the Cation Exchange Capacity of DHARAKALP?
Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) refers to the capacity of exchange between a cation (a positively charged ion) in solution, in the soil, and another cation on the surface of any negatively charged material such as DHARAKALP. CEC is a measure of soil fertility, nutrient retention capacity and the capacity to protect groundwater from cation contamination. DHARAKALP's typical range is 25 - 34 meq/100 g.
